Summer of Pride 2020, the second-annual month-long celebration of LGBTQ+ diversity in games, returns to Twitch at 9am EST. Sales on the Nintendo Switch eShop and Steam are scheduled for later in the month.

Biqtch Puddin, winner of Netflix’s “The Boulet Brothers’ DRAGULA” and former fighting game competitor, joins this year’s lineup of more than 70 streamers. They’ll play more than 60 games featuring good queer representation from AAA titles like The Last of Us: Left Behind to indie hits such as Sayonara Wild Hearts.

For the first time, the content creators involved will help raise funds for LGBTQ+ charities Trans Lifeline, Trevor Project andGaymerX via TILTIFY. Later this month MidBoss, organizers of Summer of Pride and developer of the upcoming Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER, will launch a year-round queer games storefront in partnership with Chrono.gg.

Sales offering discounts of up to 80% on beloved queer-positive games including 2064: Read Only MemoriesGone Home and Tacoma will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop from June 20-30, Steam from June 9-25, and the new storefront with Chrono.gg.

“We want everyone experience the range of diversity bubbling just below the surface of gaming, whether that’s by getting hands-on with the games or watching a beautiful array of diverse streamers find pieces of themselves in the works of queer developers,” said Cade Peterson, CEO of MidBoss. “Spotlighting creators and media with positive LGBTQ+ representation in characters and storylines saves lives by showing queer youths they are not alone.”
