High Desert Screening is an annual one day event showcasing New Mexico's artistic community

This year’s High Desert Screening will be held on August 13th at the South Broadway Cultural Center at 1025 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque.

High Desert Screening is a live annual one-day event showcasing New Mexico’s artistic community. By introducing the state’s “storytellers” in selective categories of Movie Trailers, Music Videos, and Short Films. This collection will entertain, educate, and inspire attendees.

High Desert Screening presents Feature Film Showcase  “Driftless” From 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

“A Soldier’s Passage” A decorated World War 2 Veteran meets some of his greatest challenges as he nears the end of a long life. He and his son find there are powerful lessons still to learn about themselves and each other as they both steer through the difficult days.

“The Final Trial of Billy the Kid” Two old men, Brushy Bill Roberts and John Miller, take Sheriff Pat Garrett to trial attempting to prove he never killed Billy the Kid and that one of them is the legendary outlaw.

Abnormality” A deranged and murderous family man toys with a detective who is seeking vengeance for the death of his sister.
