Emilio Estevez’s film, THE WAY, is back in theaters for a limited engagement beginning May 16, 2023. The film follows Tom Avery (Martin Sheen), a father who travels to France to recover the body of his son, Daniel (Emilio Estevez), who died while walking the Camino de Santiago, a traditional pilgrimage route in France and Spain. Tom decides to complete the Camino in his son’s place, and along the way he meets a group of fellow pilgrims who help him to heal his grief and find new meaning in his life.
