You’ve seen our pre-event coverage of the Governors Ball with all it’s yummy goodness in food and drink and the entertainment, right? Well, we have a video to share – it’s the time-lapse of the setup.

The “Kaleidoscope of Color” themed Ball was held in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center and was fused modern optics and lighting technologies to complement the creative color concepts, fine dining and electrifying entertainment.

Patina Catering served guests a menu fit for an Emmy Winner! Starting with a grilled peach and heirloom salad, followed by a filet of beef with a potato “bone” filled with golden potato puree, caramelized cippolini, crisp lacinato kale and zephyr squash, in a sauce of red wine and artisan grapes. The dessert was a contemporary take on chocolate s’mores. Sounds too good, right? We have the recipes in our post about holding your own viewing party.

Entertainment was also part of the ultimate Emmy after party featuring special guest vocalist and recording artist Judith Hill (20 Feet From Stardom, The Voice), The Red Hot Band,Extreme Beam, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, and String Theory.
