If you haven’t watched an episode of the new comedy “Young and Hungry” then this is the perfect way to find out what you’ve been missing.

“Young & Hungry” is about a young, (broke) talented food blogger, Gabi, played by Emily Osment who auditions for a job working as a personal chef for a wealthy young tech entrepreneur, Josh, played by Jonathan Sadowski.

Interestingly, this show was inspired by a “real” food blogger, Gabi Moskowitz, who lives in San Francisco where this show is set. Gabi is also the name of the main character played by Emily Osment. Check out the “real” Gabi’s blog here BrokeAssGourmet.com.

In the pilot episode, Gabi is asked to make a romantic dinner for Josh’s girlfriend but that’s when things go sideways and Gabi finds herself in an awkward position.

YOUNG & HUNGRY - "Pilot" - Gabi (Emily Osment), a feisty, young chef, has just landed an interview for her dream job – personal chef to tech millionaire Josh (Jonathan Sadowski). Josh’s right hand man, Elliott (Rex Lee), is not impressed with Gabi, but Josh is won over by Gabi’s ability to know exactly what he wants to eat. But when the romantic dinner Gabi planned to help Josh propose to his girlfriend takes a very unexpected turn, Gabi fears she may have lost the best job she ever had, on the debut episode of the hilarious "Young & Hungry," airing Wednesday, June 25th at 8:00 – 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family. Emily On Being a Foodie…

I don’t know if I am a foodie.”  [But if you’re talking about knowing where to find good food] “that’s me, I guess. When you grow up in a city you kinda arrange an anthology of all the great places to eat – like where to go on Fairfax. I know where to go based on knowing where I am.”

Emily on Cooking…

“Its hard to come home and cook [because of her work schedule].”

“I don’t have to cook anything on set, it’s TV magic.  We stopped using the gas on set because it made everyone nervous. But because of our shooting schedule, our chef April makes everything off-set right before we show it in the scene [we’ve filming] and explains the dish to me and tells me what I should do… sometimes I have no idea what a certain food [dish] is and I learn [on the fly] right before we shoot it.”

Emily on how she is like her on-screen character Gabi…

“I feel like you put as much of yourself into the character [as you can] as it’s helpful for me to be comfortable playing Gabi.”

“No matter what, everyone is going to flounder in their 20s and they tread deep water. My character Gabi might not make it to the shallow end because she has never had the experience working for someone so powerful, or being a part of the staff so she is taking on a lot of responsibility which is strange but she keeps trying.”

YOUNG & HUNGRY - "Young & Pregnant" - Gabi panics when she thinks she might be pregnant in a new episode of ABC Family's original comedy "Young & Hungry," airing on Wednesday, July 16th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. (ABC FAMILY/Ron Tom) REX LEE

Emily on Rex Lee…

We asked who’s the most fun on set… “On man, for me, it’s Rex Lee. I have such a wonderful relations with him and love the way he works. This is the first time he is working on a four camera sitcom (he has worked on one camera sets previously) and he is analyzing the scene and figuring out where he is going and he verbalizes and is so well rehearsed. He’s also hysterical and love to nap on set.”

Emily on the “Love” Triangle…

What are the fans hoping to see with her character and Josh? “I know what I see on Twitter – it’s hard to do a live tweet because I’m not home a lot. [The fans] are so adamant that they hate Caroline, played by Mallory Jansen, and in the series she plays an awful character and it’s so funny to have scenes with her because she is such a nice person that you [love to hate].”

Emily on her Dogs – and rescue dog…

“I have three dogs between my place and my parents, a golden retriever, teacup poodle and I have a rescue dog that is weird and took some time to [acclimate] to his new settings but so does everyone.”

Emily on what happens in the Season Finale…

Sorry – we don’t publish spoilers – you have to tune in tonight to ABC Family at 8 PM EST to see why Josh and Caroline’s wedding is unexpectedly moved up and why everyone is freaking out…

Gabi is panicking about her feelings for Josh and has a special birthday gift for him but gives it to Caroline because she (self-absorbed…) forget it. Then Gabi sees Josh’s heartfelt reaction and feels like she needs to tell him the truth and maybe ruin the wedding…
