In a move that’s sure to agitate Donald Trump, AAA Lucha Libre is bringing the grand tradition of high flying acrobatics and technical grappling prowess to the United States when they bring the promotion’s second invasion show to Los Angeles.
Wednesday, the promotion held an intimate press conference to introduce some of the company’s officers and enigmatic performers to the media. With wrestling making bigger footprints in pop culture recently, AAA’s behind the scenes executives seek to expand Mexico’s most popular sport. The company wants to make a big impact in the U.S most iconic sports venues, Madison Square Garden in New York and The Forum in Los Angeles.
According to Dorian Roldán, Managing Director of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, “By adding the October 13th date, we can reach even more fans in the United States. We are excited to be bringing our world-renowned luchadores to the world-famous Forum in Los Angeles.” He continued, “The theme for these events is “Invading the U.S.A” and our luchadores are ready to invade New York and LA. What better way to satisfy the increasing demand of our Triple A fans in the U.S. than to be featured at these iconic venues.”
They definitely won’t be coming empty handed as AAA enlists the ring announcing services of Luch Underground’s Melissa Santos. The highlight of today’s conference gave fans and media a small taste of the passion for wrestling the company shares. Introducing the luchadores was none other than the voice of AAA, Hugo Savinovich. He formally introduced Aerostar, Blue Demon, Texano Jr, Dr. Wagner Jr, Drago, and the returning hero Konnan to Los Angeles on behalf of AAA.
These men talked about the rich dynasty and tradition of Lucha Libre. With the bright costumes, masks, and superhuman athletic feats the performers of AAA are seen as superheroes in Mexico.

AAA Invade LA happens October 13, 2019 at the Forum in LA. Tickets go on sale at The Forum box office and online at www.luchalibreaaausa.com this coming Friday, June 21.
